Our Story
Throughout my career whenever I was away from my pets,
I couldn’t help but wonder whether my little ones were being cared for in the same way I care for them. Upon the return of my weekly trips, not only was I happy to see my family, but exhaustion and the work load that awaited me always came between the quality time my family members deserved. It was a vicious cycle that never seemed to end. Questions like the ones listed below would keep me up at night:
“I’m SO tired, but Omelet and Bogey deserves some quality time and need to exercise”
“ My meeting is running late and now I’ll be stuck in that never ending traffic…how am I going to find the time to pick pet supplies or drop them off at the groomers?”
“ We want to go on that much needed vacation, but who will care for my pets?!”
“ We are new in town, how do we find a trustworthy Pet Care provider that will love our little ones as much as we do”
Even though I have been enjoying caring for my friends and family's pets for over 15 years, I just felt there was still more to learn. This is when I began to study and read endless books about animal behavior, watched videos, attended online webinars and consulted with experienced pet care providers to learn ways to help not only myself, but any other person who could relate to what I was going through. After living this lifestyle for years while learning as much as I could on animal behavior, it didn't take long before I made the decision to combine the passion for animals with the business acumen earned throughout the years and started Happy Paws Pet Care.
